I have started putting a selection of meteosat images on the web site. If
practicable, I will try to put one for each synoptic hour through the day.
The area covered is the UK and near continent. I will try to keep the scale
constant, but there may be some changes over the next few days as I refine
the system. The images are false colour combination of the high resolution
vis channel 12 and IR channel 9 during the day, but will be IR ch 9 only at
night. Continuity is not guaranteed, as there are likely to be occasions
when I do not have sufficient time, although I am hoping to work this new
service into my routine.
