Default Christmas Eve

Just seen the "10" O'Clock forecast on BBC1 and they are working up the
rain moving in on Christmas Eve turning to snow on its northern edge
during the evening. At 6 they had a sleet symbol near Oxford and at 10
that had changed to a snow symbol and the forecaster mentioned snow even
to low levels, "something to keep an eye on".

Be great if we get a cover of snow late on Christmas Eve here in South
Oxfordshire, to wake up to a white covering on the big day will be great!

If you don't know why, it's not worth explaining it!

Yes that would be great, but look more closely at the forecasts. The day
after Boxing Day it'll be getting milder again.
