Produced the following reports at 16Z :-

Chivenor 41KT (6.2mm in the hour)
St. Catherine's Point 37KT (6.4mm in the hour)
Middle Wallop 34KT

also 47KT recently on the Dartcom weather station

And 80kts in Bournemouth!

Well.. thats what my Davis setup is telling me (during two separate 5 minute
periods) - considering I'd never reached 60kt in 9 years before, I suspect
it may have more to do with static getting into the reed switch of the
anemometer or something.. there was intense thunder and lightning overhead
at the time.
