Scary warning though!
"Heavy Rain Affecting Gtr London, Kent & Medway Heavy showers and thunderstorms will develop Tuesday evening and continue into the first part of Tuesday night giving torrential downpours with a risk of hail and gusty winds. In areas affected, driving conditions will become dangerous with a risk of localised flooding." Issued by Met Office. Valid from: Tuesday 28 June, 2005 at 18:00 Expires on: Wednesday 29 June, 2005 at 01:00 Notice the wording "will" not "may". Perhaps something else is due to develop overnight. ;-( Dave "danny (west kent)" wrote in message ... Lol.... here in the Desert. |

![]() "colin may" wrote in message ... High level thunder storm 2040/2110 to the south moved away east, no rain. Could do with some, only 9.8mm here at Boughton-under-Blean (Nnorth Kent). Colin Just spent half hour watching silent cloud to cloud lightning towards Deal (we're in Folkestone). Warm gusty wind, no rain, but odd that we cant hear the thunder, the lightning seemed quite close at times... Calming down now.. Pharm.. |

Incidentally why is the Medway mentioned along with Kent? Sounds rather
like saying "Heavy Rain affecting Greater London and London".... Nick |
