Default Fabulous sky

Last night I confirmed to the family I am totally bonkers as I sat in the
dark watching the lightning over mid-Norfolk. Looking south & west from my
place the show provided was stunning. Loads of sheet lightning which seemed
to illuminate the entire night sky. Plenty of CC and CG strikes too. Hardly
any rain - literally a few minutes but the lightning went on for ages. Quite
spectacular.

Why is it you that's daft?

Which is more daft, spending hours watching the real world and being amazed
and enthralled by it, or spending hours watching the imaginary lives of
other people on a little screen in the corner of the room?

Sadly, our point of view appears to be the minority...

Best wishes from a fellow sky-watcher

Dead right. You have only to travel on a plane to see just how few are
interested in looking out of the window as the worlds great oceans, deserts
and mountain ranges slip by. Most are likely to be glued to computers or the
latest from Hollywood.
