Just posted the 15z ob when the first low rumble sounded. Now getting
darker by the minute.

And, it shows lightning strikes over me, when I have clear blue skies
and sunshine, (dartford), but some anvils to the NNW now disappearing
away northwards 20+ miles away

24mm, has taken this month's total so far to 53mm - making it the
wettest June in Luton (low level site) since (at least) 1999 ...

A big difference between the two sites - only 1km apart as the crow
flies - yesterday, with 16.5mm on the hilltop and 24mm in the valley.

afternoon,albeit in 15 minutes .
