Belgium on Sunday
Saturday night's min. temps ranged between 8.4°C at Elsenborn at 564 m asl in the Hautes Fagnes and 20.5°C on Ostend Pier. Early fog and cloud on Sunday was mainly confined to a strip near the Dutch border. Most places had unbroken sunshine all day with temperatures near 30°C even on the coast. Max. temps 30 to 33°C near the coast and in Wallonia and Limburg; 33 to 35°C in Flanders. Ostend Pier 29.3°C, Spa 29.4°C, Ostend Airport 30.2°C. Lembeek (SW of Brussels) 34.3°C, Lichtervelde (West Flanders) and Galmaarden (west of Brussels) 34.8°C, Virton (extreme SE) 35.1°C, Hillegem (between Ghent and Brussels) 35.2°C, Kapelle o/d Bos (north of Brussels) 35.6°C, Kortrijk (SW Flanders) 36.3°C.
