A few site records broken in quite a memorable 2nd half of the month. A new
highest June minimum, recorded on the 18th (16.0ºC).
The highest average minimum recorded for June - slightly higher than June
2003, although June 1976 is likely to have seen a higher figure locally.
And also the wettest June day on record since I began in 1994, namely the
30th, with 12mm of rainfall in one 10 minute period at 8.15pm (or an
equivalent rate of 72mm/hour)
Overall, a wet and warm month, with some particularly warm nights.
