Default Live 8 swearing / 3D Weather

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertain...ic/4648051.stm

snip
The number of Live 8 complaints exceeded the 240 complaints made to the
BBC in May concerning its new 3D TV weather map.

Considering the massive audiences Live 8 attracted and the more
'enthusiast' nature of the weather forecast, the amount of complaints
regarding the 3D Weather forecasts is quite high. Although I'm not
quite sure were they get there figures from. So why haven't they done
anything about it?

I thought the concert was crap. Beats me though why the BBC was the only
one dealing with it.

I never wrote to the BBC about the weather thing because I knew they
would not listen.

I don't doubt the majority of viewers interested in the weather felt the
same way. When people in thew UK get the cold shoulder from the powers
that be they tend to switch off or give the arseholes in charge the cold
shoulder.

That's why we don't (or rather that why we "tend not to") vote, don't
pay our TV licences, don't respect authority, commit vandalism, commit
aggressive crimes, don't even report crimes. And worse; we are litter
louts, too.

(Well, not me of course, but there is a smattering of truth in all
that.)

(IMO that is.)

That Jim bloke (whoever he normally posts as) was quite right about the
tenor of these posts lately. Sorry about that.
