Hail up to a centimetre in diameter was falling for about 10 minutes,
pulverising the leaves of some garden plants and the lillies in the pond. Some hail lay on the grass for up to an hour, and where it collected against walls for longer. Temperature dropped to 14 degrees. I've not seen the garden look so 'wintery' in July. Very interesting. |
