Not sure if this is a new facility (on this site) or it's been hidden,
but the following looks quite useful: http://www2.wetter3.de/Archiv/archiv_dwd.html Archive at *6* hourly intervals, with plotted obs, since 3rd December, 2003. You can also step forward/back, either at default 6-hour steps, or by selecting '1 Tages- Schritt', in daily time-steps. Martin. -- FAQ & Glossary for uk.sci.weather at:- http://homepage.ntlworld.com/booty.weather/uswfaqfr.htm [ with Search facility ] and http://booty.org.uk/booty.weather/metindex.htm |

I'm sure that particular archive is new - and very useful it will be at 6 hourly intervals. -- Mike 55.13°N 6.69°W Coleraine posted to uk.sci.weather 06/07/2005 08:46:57 UTC |

Also on the same site the following provides a lot of useful stuff from the GFS model, with runs every 6 hours http://www2.wetter3.de/preview.html Norman. Does anyone know if an archive of the old DWR can be obtained online, or does it mean trips to Exeter and bring your own photocopier. Tudor hughes, Warlingham, Surrey. |

Tudor, if it's merely the odd one, just ask ... there are 2 or 3 of us around here who have reasonably good runs of the DWR and a scanner (though mine will only do A4). pe |

How many offices are they closing I wonder? One small grate; the first site is a little too big. The map fills the screen at the right settings (F11) the second one could be larger. -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG |
