Default [WR] Almost a heatwave in South Somerset

I notice the Met Office have raised the flag on Heat Health Level 1 to be
aware of heatwave conditions.

Here in Ilminster, yesterday peaked at 30.3 deg whilst today was hotter at
30.6 deg. Both hot enough for a heatwave in SW England on the Meto's
heatwave scale, but alas the intervening nighttime low was a cool 14.1 deg.

15 deg + needed for official heatwave status!

See http://www.meto.gov.uk/weather/europ...at_health.html for more info
on what I'm going on about!

Sweaty regards,

Jeremy
Ilminster, South Somerset

Jeremy-I am hoping to get hold of some useful rainfall records from a
site south of you at Kingcombe: these might be interesting for you
too.
