(delete "thisbit" twice to e-mail) Norman, I think the rain may be falling from Ac cast - http://weather.uwyo.edu/cgi-bin/soun...&STNN=Camborne (00z Camborne ascent) An upper trough approaching from the W will destabilise things over the coming hours, along with prefrontal convergence, as it overruns the front causing some heavy showers. After that a long period of wet weather is imminent. Joe |

After that a long period of wet weather is imminent. I think you're right, Joe. Although the Cu are getting quite beefy the rain is undoubtedly falling from the Ac. It has been raining for at least 50 percent of the time since 0900z but never enough to dampen any surfaces. I have a considerable interest in the developments over the next 24 hours as I'm due on the 1st tee at the golf course at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning for the Monthly Medal. It doesn't look good :-( Norman. (delete "thisbit" twice to e-mail) -- Norman Lynagh Weather Consultancy Chalfont St Giles 85m a.s.l. England |
