i think theres even less than you here in Ealing West London dopwn the road,
showery bits so far and its 11.30am! i expect a short spell of heavy rain then a rapid clearance I presume by 3pm or even earlier - no? are we the driest part of the country? also whenever i travel thru the Chalfonts on the A40 towards london there always seems a brighter slot around Denham -Uxbridge - its flatter ground here - and even often sunny breaks appear here. Normally gets cloudier further up from you, say more Amersham way. But then again thats the high ground of the Chilterns proper I suppose. DR London "Norman Lynagh" wrote in message ... Nothing measurable so far. 1400z N F1 10km RERA 6St007 7Sc050 16.8/15.7 1000 RMK: Rain stopped about 15 minutes ago after being continuous slight, occasionally moderate since before 0600z. Total for the event is 6.4 mm according to the Davis VP. The odd glimpse of the sun now appearing. It was OK on the golf course today with mostly slight rain and just the odd moderate burst. Certainly nowhere near as bad as the forecasts were suggesting. Norman. (delete "thisbit" twice to e-mail) -- Norman Lynagh Weather Consultancy Chalfont St Giles 85m a.s.l. England |
