I took this photo www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/Daffs.html this morning on
the way back to Penzance from St Ives. More typical of late Jan / early Feb here (March/April in much of the country) ,than late December. They are much too wide open to pick now, must be leaving them for the bulbs. Hopefully this will satisfy certain cynics who doubted the existence of flowering daffodils in December.
