Seems strange that storms and torrential rain should introduce warm (or

Nick A very good comment, I agree that it seems unusual. Are there any good explanations for this. Mind you its not so warm here in Somerset, has become very windy, temperature 17C, gusting to 40mph, and cloudy. No doubt feeding those dreadful storms in the NE.
