Default Interesting cloud formation in Kent

Great picture and could be seen from this side of the Estuary if it was
around 7.30 pm. Drifted this way and declined giving nice rainbows but no
rain.

It's called "pileus" and not uncommon above large cumulus congestus.

Try a google search for pileus

Thanks, the photo has now been appropriately captioned! I do believe
it's the first time I've ever seen pileus cloud, probably because I've
not been in places where you can see large cumulus clouds from afar.
