You couldn't get a better illustration than yesterday of the variation in
the British weather. There was the wet, cold gloom of the North, the cold
wet then warm wet and tornadoes of the Midlands and the tropical heat and
showers of the South. I had 2.5mm of rain in the form of two brief showers
and a max temp of 27.4C. Today is positively disappointing so far!

Tropical heat in the south ????!!!!

We had, fog drizzle and driving rain. Force 4-5 wind with a max of 15.7 deg C
and a min of 14.2 deg C.

As usual Dartmoor has its own weather :-)

Today (29th) visibility is 50 Km or more and dry and cloudy, temperature at 1000
is 14.3 deg C, lovely.

Well, let's say identical to a September day I spent in Cairns, which I
believe is about 5 deg North of the Tropic of Capricorn. 27 deg C, rain
showers and high humidity - just the sort of weather you love Will ;-)
