Brussels on Friday 29 July - all times local

Bright start but cloudy by late morning - Ac and As. Cloud moved away
early p.m. and it was sunny for a couple of hours - just scattered small Cu.
Rapid increase in cloud again towards 16.00 - Cu and TCu.

Heavy shower lasting 20 mins began abruptly at 16.30 - torrential rain for
10 mins or so with a few rumbles of thunder as the shower moved away.
Brighter for a time subsequently but cloudy again by 19.00.

Sky increasingly dark and threatening by 20.00 with occasional distant
thunder. Heavy rain from 20.30 with sporadic feeble thunder and
lightning - rain slackened by 21.00 and then stopped.

Very warm in the sunny spell. Light wind from around S backed towards E
later.

Brussels Uccle 27.0°C - overnight minimum 19.3°C - and 3 mm rain.
Brussels Airport 27.9°C - overnight minimum 20.1°C - and 7 mm.

moving into Belgium from France
