The month started cool (max of 18.1C on the 4th) with a warmer interlude
during the second and third weeks (max of 29.2C on the 14th) before cooling down again for the end of the month (max of 18.4C on the 26th). Rainfall was above average (60.5mm, 128%*) - the first month I have recorded with above average rainfall (since September 2004). July was also the second wettest month since September 2004, bested only by October. The charts show that rainfall was confined to the start and end of the month with a dry spell of around 14 days in the middle of the month.
