I see The RMS is making available some now hard to get hold of papers-
http://www.rmets.org/publication/classics/index.php inc- Browning, K.A. and Ludlam, F.H., 1962. Airflow in convective storms. Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, 88, (376), 117-135 and 88, (378), 555. Manley, G., 1953. The mean temperature of central England, 1698-1952. Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, 79, (340), 242-261. Manley, G., 1974. Central England temperatures: monthly means 1659 to 1973. Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, 100, (425), 389-405. Excellent idea. Not complaining at all but it would nice to have a little gloss on why they should be considered 'classic' from a contemporary viewpoint, -- regards, David add '17' to Waghorne to reply |

The Wokingham storm was a forward flank updraught HP supercell according to some correspondance I had with the man himself, one for the trivia buffs (: Les -- Les Crossan, Wallsend, Tyne & Wear 54.95N 1.5W Home of the Wallsend StormCam and the Backup USW FAQ - www.uksevereweather.org.uk |

Yes it's top posted and it's in capitals. Michael Mcneil wrote: "Les Crossan" wrote in message . uk I'd lost my copy of "airflow in convective storms" You lost it in a storm? The Simpsons has no apostrophe except on Planet Zod where lithium carbonate is plentiful. There are plenty of trolls in LOTR. The Simpsons have no apostrophe except perhaps in the Oort Cloud where
aliens and lithium carbonate are abundant. I'm a bit old to be playing in treehouses but still like to read Lord of the Rings where trolls are plentiful.
