Default Cold today?

Not sure if it's just me but in Southampton the air has felt very cool
today... as much as it was around the 25th-27th. It's not just cloud
either - the early evening, around 5pm, was quite bright overhead.

I know the forecast maxima were a little on the low side for today -
around 20C or so, but it felt more like nearer 15 today. Also the air
had that "feel" that sub-528 air does in winter. Much cooler than
yesterday, certainly.

Ken,
OK thanks.

Wonder if it was some other property of the air (dryness?) that made it
feel cooler than it actually was? I also thought that Wednesday and
Friday seemed cooler than the reported max in the south of 23C or so -
more like 20 or 21.

Nick
