Seems there was a good deal of uncertainty about the very weak frontal
wave on the T+24 charts for midnight (just gone) over the southwest. Seems it developed some 12 hours earlier, producing brief light rain which extended as far east as Hampshire... but there's been no evidence of rain overnight. Indeed around 2300 the tendency seemed to be clearing from the northeast. More autumn signs BTW... condensation on the window for the first time! This month is so Septemberish it's untrue!
