Overnight minimum here was +3.6ºC and grass minimum was +1.4ºC.
These are the lowest values I have ever recorded in the first half of August
(ie since 1994).
The tender plants in the garden must've had a shock!
I wonder if anyone managed a ground frost?

The grass mins I know of are :- Redesdale -1.4C, Eskdalemuir -0.8C,
Drumburgh -0.2C, Edinburgh -0.2C

Too much of a NW'ly in these situations over this side. Screen 7.1C Grass
2.5C at Copley, although Copley Lead Mill screen was down to 4.2C
