[OT] Sandstorms for Iraq & Kuwait
BAGHDAD, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- A sandstorm swept large parts of
Iraq, including Baghdad, Monday disrupting traffic and forcing almost total paralysis of daily activities and street life. Often noted that coutries outside UK (e.g. Spain) continue NOSIG through thunderstorm events, even when visibility drops from 9999 to below fog limits. Am I mis reading the 'rules' or are Trends any use to Pilots when in fact they could be totally misleading when they represent expectation for the next two hours and the Pilot is getting ready to fianalise his approach ?
