Just seen one.
"Devil Winds" it's being repeated on Sky Movies One at 3pm today Tornados shoot down from cloud base during a time frame of around two seconds. Hail is shown on the computer generated shot, but no hail shown on the ground, where the storm chasers are standing there watching it. No rain depicted falling on storm chasers either Bone dry roads, despite storm chasers driving through these tornadic cells, and at one point, the twister is made to appear to 'chase' them down winding roads (the roads are bone dry of course) Cam shot inside the van, bright sunlight seen on Storm Chasers demin jacket, then a shot outside, with the twister very close to the van, and gloomy overcast skies Here's the kicker !! About mid-way through the movie, man produces a sat image, clearly of a strong cat 4 or cat 5 hurricane with clear eye in centre. Movie is based around Oklahoma, USA. They were seriously passing off that sat image, as the storm system that was about to hit them (Resist temptation to shout at screen at this point) It's school holidays, young people will be watching that, and i sure hope they are not expecting to pick up anything educational about it. I mean, i'm talking belly laughably bad here That was the worst tornado movie i've seen so far. |
