This is the lowest August maximum on record at this site since I begun
recording in 1994.
The previous mark was +13.4ºC set on 28th August 1994.
It's most likely the coolest August day since the poor Augusts of 1985 & 86.
The squirrels noticed too and have been hoarding food in the garden.
