1900

Well the heavy snow stopped circa 1500 and we now have a level 4 cm snow cover.
Still some light snow showers passing through, about once per hour now.
When the snow stopped the sky cleared and we were greeted with a view over to
Teignmouth with the Haldon hills shining white and also the high ground above
Shaldon. Snow level about 150m asl or so.

The Haytor sledge runs were busy this afternoon and there was a queue of cars
slithering up the hill. Up on Hay Tor there is 5-6 cm level snow but blown a bit
with deeper bits and icy bits. Had great fun sledging at dusk with a full moon
showing the way.

I shall not forget this Xmas - it has been special. More piccies later, I have
to go as I'm being rationed on-line today :-)

Temp -1.8 deg C
Partly cloudy with light snow showers
Dewpoint -3 deg C
Wind NW 4 knots
Bar 1002 hPa

Snowy cheers from Dartmoor,

Will.
