Default [WR] Lightning/thunder - Shrewsbury, Shropshire

One flash of lightning and a good roll of thunder hear in Shrewsbury.
Sky is a strange leaden grey.

I never saw any lightning in Shrewsbury today, but it seems to have
happened all around here so I'll take your word for it :-)
Agree about the sky colour, seen unusually dark grey skies a few times
this summer in fact.

I work in the Square on the third floor of an old building, and there was a
very distinct flash of lightning, followed by the thunder - but yes, the sky
was a strange eerie grey/yellow colour.

I was just round the corner, I certainly heard the first thunder but
didn't see the lightning. Thanks.

As for today, was mostly fine until about 5pm when it rained on and
off, one heavy burst just before 6. Dry now but cooler than last night.
