Les, you mat be able to help me (if you use no-ip?)
If you do then how do you get your files to be able to be viewed by
others ?
I have no-ip set up but no one can view my files. Do I need to share a
folder on my c: root and put a particular file in there for people to
connect to or what ?

I know it's a bit off topic but I have been trying for ages to sort it
out but to no avail.

It's thundering here by the way - Surfleet, South Lincs.

My gateway hosts Apache 2.054 (webserver) on windows 2003 on a mirrored
132 gig scsi lvd-se drive, i don't have any ports directly open and nobody
can gain access apart from 80 and Apache handles that. I don't share
anything as a rule apart from weather pictures and artwork - folk can get
stuff on request through pers comm.

You can do the same with Personal Webserver or IIS but I don't recommend
it - more holes than a swiss cheese - i see you're running oe6 so you've
got some kind of windows!

I'm on blueyonder elite 4Mb which is 384k up.

Get Apache he www.apache.org = it'll run straight out of the tin. Check
with your isp about upstream restrictions as i stick my head above the
radar every time I do something like this when uncle tom cobley 'n' all
want to see something being clobbered /:
