I see several parts of the south coast west of the Isle of White to Land's
End (also the area around Newquay/Padstow) had 300 hours of sunshine last
month. That must be quite rare in August.

Cor blimey! That's nearly 10 hours a day. I realised it was sunny here last
month but I would have never thought it had been that sunny.
