Indeed. I did wonder if the Altnaharra figure was correct as the next
lowest was Loch Glascarnoch at 2.0°C.

Cairnwell is at 933 metres asl and so not really representative. Even so,
some places at lower elevation in northern England and Scotland had max.
temps of only 11 or 12°C. See Trevor Harley's post.
