Default cloudburst - east London

calf depth flooding in Leytonstone this afternoon - seems to have been
around 2" of rain between 3.15pm and 4.15pm. Only started panicking
when wheelie bins started floating off down the road. Fortunately just
above the low spot in Cavendish Drive where the water was lapping many
people's front doors.

Rain stopped now

One of my IT clients located in Simonds Road were flooded on Saturday
afternoon. CCTV shows the deluge at 16:15. Spent today mopping up, drying
out and chucking sodden floor and ceiling tiles, furniture and fried IT kit.

Picking tiles off the floor here too - but due to a leaky immersion
heater, rather than the weather...
