Large area of cloud over the North Sea extends over NE England and SE
Scotland. Cloud also over north Wales and through the Midlands. Ireland
and much of Scotland are sunny - as is the southern half of England despite
extensive high cloud. Much of the Low Countries is sunny again but
remnants of thundery outbreaks are visible over the west of the Netherlands.

Thunderstorms move across northern England during the morning and early
afternoon. Thunder also heard in places in the west of Belgium in the
early morning.
