BRACKNELL (TF) 0700 SSW F2 6000 BR SKC T-023D-029 RMK: heavy hoar frost deposit: grass thermo currently -3= BRACKNELL (TF) 0900 SSW F2 12km - 1/CI T-023D-028 RMK: just a 'trace' of cirrus (CI) visible now - probably there earlier but now illuminated by the sun. A glorious frosty, wintry morning; I haven't reported any 'present weather', though it is slightly hazy - but note that the visibility has genuinely improved past hour - might go down I suppose if hoar frost melts appreciably. [ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z): screen min: -02.5 grass min: -04.5 precipitation: NIL other data: ground surface frozen solid, as is bird water bath etc; road surfaces (minor road) patchy hoar frost covering. ]= -- Martin Rowley: data via - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/booty.weather/metindex.htm Bracknell (Wooden Hill/Tawfield), Berkshire NGR: SU 854 667 Elev: 80m Lat: 51DEG23MIN30SEC(N): Long: 00DEG46MIN28SEC(W) |
