Some of the Florida Coastal Monitoring Project guys are in the path of the
storm with their wind towers - highest gust to date of 116mph (101 kn).

KPRC's live TV feed is interesting viewing. Their weatherman last night was
predicting landfall near Port Arthur, whereas NOAA was sticking to the
previous more westerly track. He was right.
