Default Surprisingly warm today

Made a maximum 0f 21.0°c (70°f in old money), was quite pleasent down
having a meal in Old Leigh watching the tide coming in this afternoon. I
will be interested to see whether (weather) I hit the top temp today.

Sorry - no. Heathrow 21.7°C. Met Office list has 7 other places above

...... indeed and surprisingly dry! Considering the 10.30am News 24 forecast
was still saying a dull and wet morning with some heavier bursts possible in
the south east corner. Must have been a pre-recorded one because the radar
showed the rain had, as usual, fragmented by then - in fact it was sunny
here by 11.00am and was a beautiful sunny day till a heavy shower late on.
