A noddy guide would be appreciated. Thanks Right click on My Computer....properties... advanced... startup & recovery. I'm running Windows 2003 but it's in the same place with XP. To run a quick scandisk: start-run-cmd(enter).... chkdsk (enter) this will tell you if your disk is goosed. If the BSOD is meaningless to you then let us know what the error is....
