Record low rainfall

Looks like a record low rainfall for the Isle of Skye for May 2008. Only
13.4mm recorded at Staffin on the north of the island and 24.4 mm at Carbost

Highest temperature

Certainly the highest temperature recorded in May since I started recording
here 6 years ago. It also beats the highest temperature through the whole
of last Summer.

The rainfall has been quite exceptional. Rainfall so far this month on Skye
is 121.6mm almost 5ins in under 4 days! It is of course still raining here.
