ECMWF charts

Little OT regarding the thread, but.....
I often see this model touted as the 'best one' with the best technical
attributes etc. But I feel too many times it shows a cold outlook in winter
that never...

East, now.
Interesting post, BTW. I remember December '90 was very cool (for those

[WR] Raining in Norfolk

Air should get colder as \ *if* wind gets some Easterly mechanism in it. Not

[WR] Raining in Norfolk

The Sea is warm (relatively speaking). Of course, if we were in a deep cold
air situation (91, 87, etc. ) , just inland of the coast would be the place
to be, although it would thaw quicker come the...

Any chance of an update tonight, Will?

Looks a bit too Northerly\slack to me? Would like to see a bit more of an
'Easterly' punch.

GFS cancels TWO's and Will's "prolonged freeze" in MILD switch!

If your view is 'I don't think it will snow' or 'I think the hurricane will
miss us', you will be banned from the TWO forum. Weather discussion it is
NOT.
IMHO, The Forum is out of control, full of...

Next week's weather summary beginning 23/01/05

As a layman, I woudn't expect anything more than a slight covering at best
going by those charts, Darren, but beggars can't be choosers, nowadays
anyway. Those charts are such a break from the norm,...

Don't you just love English weather?

To answer your question .... 'No' . I think it is becoming 'generally'
boring and predictable. 'Heavy Showers' usually in the form of rain seem to
be the only break from the norm I can think of...
