Isabel's interesting eye

The eye appears to be contracting as we approach 1am EST Sunday night,
and looks like it will track w-wnw directly over a 25N/70W plot-point.

The entire storm is over 84F water now.

Why no feeder bands?

I've noted the distinct lack of convective feeder bands in this year's
hurricanes; they seem to be CDO-only storms.

Anybody have an explanation?
